University Hospital Retiree Alumni Association

The University Hospital Retiree and Alumni Association (UHRAA) was formed in 1992. It is open to all interested persons who are retired or worked at least 10 years at any University Health Services, Inc. facility. This includes those employees who worked under Morrison Cafeteria or Crothall at any University Health Services, Inc. facility and were employed prior to University Health Services, Inc. transitioning to Piedmont Augusta. An annual membership drive/renewal is done every February. We meet for fun and fellowship in May for a BBQ Luncheon and December for a Christmas Luncheon.

Our purpose is:

  1. To organize and support the retirees of University Hospital.
  2. To serve as a conduit for retirees to communicate questions, suggestions and concerns.
  3. To utilize the established treasury to support the activities of UHRAA.
  4. To promote awareness of the foundation fund to support the needs of retirees.
